i really should be doing all that french work right now, or even creating my family tree from adam to noah's sons.
it was really windy today. and i liked that. it must be the wind in your hair, or just the feeling that if you fall, something's there to catch you.
i guess that's why i love reality. when i fall, i know i'm always going to hit something. there's a certainty that can't be bought. certainty feels nice and is increasingly hard to come by. i can't even be sure what i say is interpreted the right way anymore.
i keep looking over at the black binder labeled "CALENDAR" and wonder what exactly that means. or what it means to me.
remembrance day poppy, check
alzheimersociety thunder bay calendar, check
toronto star article on twentysomethings who can't fend for themselves, check
broken headphones, check
(this is sounding more and more like fun, and less and less like john mayer)
elastic band, check
new t-shirts, check
unpersonalized letter to me, check
contacts, check
dog asleep on a pillow on the couch, check
steady cash flow, not so check
but then again, what do i need money for? nothing important... just a camera, cornerstone ticket, lovedrug cd, and an increasing number of movies i want/need to see.
nyeh.
did you know that i have my name written on someone's binder. i wonder if they still use it.

p.s.
in response to my dubble bubble comic, i plan on buying the domain name www.girlsdontbite.com
so hands off.

0. so much for thinking.
1. i miss pointless assignments like family trees. isn't that just copying from a particular Sacred Text? cha-ching.
2. i don't know if it was windy here too, because i didn't go outside today. but i do know there was purple lightning, because the girl two doors down said so. she also left her keys with me when she went for a run. that's nice.
3. you know what a good john mayer song is? 'your body is a wonderland'. i bet he has a steady cash flow.
4. oh, there's the wind.
5. i bought a camera today. well, yesterday, but i did something wrong on the order form and had to correct it today. Nikon Coolpix P1.
6. i don't know how many lovedrug songs you have access to, but here are some recent ones i 'discovered': It Won't Last; Goodbye Blue Fly; In Red.
7. whatever you do, don't let the Maternity see Jarhead. it's like...Blink-251.
8. i like the 'radiotown' thing.

the wind today became my best friend. except that two days ago my other friends..the trees. were pretty cause they had leaves. but now htey dont. mm..friends...stabbing eachother in the backs. does that actually happen in real life?
it's on a windy day like yesterday when you're standing in the middle of your backyard in your pjs that you really wish you had a soundtrack going.
and you can't really ever know if what you say is being interpreted the right way.
you know, i've been wanting that soundtrack more and more recently.
you could just walk everywhere with headphones on...like me =D...common iPod boy.
